The 78M05 Voltage Regulator IC is fixed voltage monolithic integrated circuit voltage regulator and is designed for a wide range of applications. This regulator employ internal current limiting, thermal-shutdown and safe-area compensation, making them essentially indestructible. It can drive up to 0.5 A of output current.
The 78M05 series of three-terminal positive regulators are available in the TO-220/D-PAK package with several fixed output voltages making it useful in a wide range of applications.
