🔧 What is an Ultrasonic Sensor?

An ultrasonic sensor is an electronic device that uses ultrasound waves to measure the distance between itself and an object. The most common module used in electronics projects is the HC-SR04.

📡 How Does It Work?

The sensor has two main parts:

• Transmitter (Trigger Pin) – emits high-frequency ultrasonic sound waves (typically 40 kHz)

• Receiver (Echo Pin) – receives the sound after it bounces back from an object

🌀 Working Process:

1. The sensor sends an ultrasonic pulse (like a bat does! 🦇).

2. The pulse hits an object and reflects back.

3. The sensor calculates the time taken for the echo to return.

4. Using the speed of sound, it calculates the distance to the object.
